This seat mod is basically like the KLR650 seat mod with no gel -- just extra foam. I used a two inch thick piced of foam to augment the stock seat. You can find a link to the KLR seat process on the "Other saddles" page. The KLX seat is very narrow and definitely needs someting for extended riding on the road, extended meaning more than an hour. Off road you move around and keep so much weight on the pegs it's not a problem.
